The title of QC, which entitles the bearer to address the highest court in the U.K., the Privy Council, has been bestowed on fewer than one percent of The Bahamas’ practicing attorneys.

Courtney Pearce received her B. A. in International Politics from Colgate University in New York. Ms. Pearce went on to study at the University of Buckingham where she graduated with Upper Second Class Honours in 2005. During her year at Bar School, Ms. Pearce was very active in the Pro Bono Legal Advice Centre of the College of Law and negotiated a settlement between her clients and their local Council in a property dispute. Ms. Pearce was called to the Bar in England and Wales in July 2006 and to the Bahamas Bar in December 2006. She currently works in litigation and is building her specialization in Corporate and Trust Law.

Mr. Philippe studied Spanish language and culture at La Universidad de Salamanca, Spain in 2006. Later he studied law at the University of Manchester, England where he received his (LLB) in both English Law and French Law in 2010. He also attended L’Université de Bougogne, France where he furthered his studies in French Law and civil law traditions and achieved the graduate level Diplòme de Relations Internationales in Public International Law in 2010.

In 2012 Ms. Rolle earned an Associates of Arts degree in Law and Criminal Justice from the College of The Bahamas which earned her a placement on the President’s List. She then pursued a Bachelor of Law with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies in 2015 then attended the Eugene Dupuch Law School where she received a Legal Education Certificate in 2017, the same year she was called to The Bahamas Bar. She has served as president and public relations officer at the University of the West Indies at The College of The Bahamas Law Society.

Philisea obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Law & Criminal Justice in 2012 at the College of The Bahamas. She earned a Bachelor of Laws with Upper Second Class Honours in 2015 at the University of Buckingham, England and a Master of Laws in International & Commercial Law (specializing in Financial Services Law) with Distinction in 2016.
