Ebonesse Bain loathes injustice and oppression. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that she decided to become an Attorney who fights for the rights of others, especially those less fortunate.
Ebonesse started her legal journey in 2015 at the University of The Bahamas when she enrolled in the Associate of Arts program in Law and Criminal Justice. Ebonesse graduated with her Associate of Arts in Law and Criminal Justice with Distinction in 2017. She then pursued her LLB at the University of The Bahamas, where she graduated with distinction and as the most outstanding LLB student receiving both the LLB Academic Award for Academic Excellence and Social Science Award for Academic Excellence in 2020. Thereafter, Ebonesse enrolled at the Eugene Dupuch Law School and graduated as Valedictorian in 2022, having been selected the Best Performing Student in both Year 1 and Year 2. Additionally, she received the Principal’s Roll of Honour, and various other awards.
Ebonesse was called to the Bar of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas on 4 November 2022. Her current areas of practice include Civil Litigation and Conveyancing.
Ebonesse enjoys reading and writing. In 2019, she co-authored a journal article titled “Who Commits Murder” in the publication “Our Prisoners,” which was a collaboration between the Inter-American Development Bank and The University of The Bahamas.
